  The chuck wagon looked run down 32 years ago when I first stepped inside and it hasn't really changed much in appearance since - other than 32 years have passed since then. I am going to share a secret with you though - it doesn't matter. If you want great meals at reasonable prices, then you must eat here. This is a zero star dining hole but they serve up such good food and portions that you can't help but come back. One of my all time favourite eateries but don't expect fancy ok? I come here and eat when I have been slugging outside all day or when I just don't feel like doing any more than the basics of shoes and shirt and pants

  Little over priced. The steak in my steak and eggs was severely under cooked, like below rare level. When I sent it back for more cooking it of course came back well done.

  I'm actually surprised of the amount of positive reviews for this restaurant, but I respect that many locals are dedicated to supporting a locally owned long-time restaurant. However, being an "outsider" and just a visitor of Woodstock for the day, my husband, friend and I were quite disappointed. We stopped in after reading the reviews and being fans of "hole in the wall" type restaurants, which are usually hidden gems.
  
  We personally feel like this restaurant was not a gem, at least not anymore (maybe it was in years past). We were there on a Sunday late afternoon. The service was cold and not very friendly, the prices were high for the food quality, and the place needs a really good cleaning at the very least. We did not have the breakfast so maybe that is what they are best known for and we missed out. What we can comment on was the burger/fries, fish/fries and the caesar salad. All were sub-par quality and nothing to rave about or bring us back. I would be shocked if any of it was actually homemade/not from a box or freezer.
  
  Was it worth it? No.
  Would we go again? No.
  Should you go? I personally believe in trying restaurants at least once to gather my own opinion since everyone is different. So, try it if you are in the area and see for yourself.

  Extremely clean, fast service, affordable and a very friendly environment! If you're a Hungry Man and looking for a good breaky.. I recommend trying their Hungry Man Platter. The pancakes are out of this world!
